What makes Build-A-Straw different than other silicone straws?
Each straw contains multiple segments—a few straight and one angled—so you can create any straw height you like, accommodating any size cup or bottle. Since the straw comes apart, it’s so much easier to get the interior thoroughly clean than a standard reusable straw.
How do I put it together?
It's extremely easy to connect the segments: Simply push the segments together, placing the narrow opening of one segment into the wider opening of another. To create a comfortable sipping experience, the angled segment only connects on one side (the side with the ring).
How do I clean it?
If you're out and about, you can simply rinse it clean between uses. Then when you get home, you can put it in the dishwasher. We recommend placing it in the utensil compartment. If you wish to sterilize it every so often, you can place it in boiling water for a few minutes.
Is it BPA-free?
Yes, it’s 100% silicone and free of BPA, Phthalates, PVC and Lead.
