Removable Panels

Are they meant to be removed often? DEFINITELY NOT!

You'll want to leave the panels in place during day to day use and just throw your SoftShells in the dishwasher with the frame and panels intact.

Why are they removable? So you can deep clean or sterilize them every so often. If you choose to remove them, here's how you put them back in:

(1) Lay the frame flat and place the panels on top of it. (2) Starting at the outer corners of one panel, press along the seam until you’ve made it all the way around. (3) Repeat with the other panel.

Cleaning

Due to its lay-flat design, it easily fits in the dishwasher just like a plate. Cleaning it that way on a regular basis is the fastest, simplest method—no disassembly needed

Hard water marks: Remove the panels and boil them in a solution of 1 part vinegar to 3 parts water for 5 minutes (do not boil the frame).

Lingering scents: Rub fresh lemon all over it, wait 15 minutes, then rinse well in hot water. Repeat if needed.

We highly recommend using dye-free, unscented detergents.

Did a little bit of the panel pop out of the frame when cleaning?

Just press it back in!

Microwaving it?

Just vent it open a bit!

Will it stain?

Red sauces, turmeric, and pesto will likely stain the silicone panels. If it does, simply remove the panels from the frame, place them in a flat tray, and soak in 3% hydrogen peroxide for 12 hours.

Our Grape and Raspberry colors are best for use with sauces that may stain.
